Events & Information All special events at BBA welcome the general public as well as the Friends of Beaver Brook. Each event is designed to celebrate a particular season of the year while integrating topics of natural history, art (music, dance, visual), land stewardship, crafts, forestry and wildlife, storytelling, and entertainment of all types. UNPLUGGED PLAY Beaver Brook is offering an 'after-camp' activity called Unplugged Play from 2-4 p.m. from July 7-August 15 for students entering grades 3-6. Create summer memories with other children and BBA staff playing traditional outdoor games, telling stories, hiking, stream wading and just plain having fun outdoors. If you have not signed up for this and would like to, please phone the Beaver Brook office to register 603-465-7787.
NIGHT IN THE WILD - CAMPOUT WITH CHICK WETHERBEE * Date/Time: Saturday, July 19 from 10:00 a.m., to Sunday, July 20th at 10:00 a.m. Place: Brown Lane Barn and Campsite Fee: $ 105/95 Friends For Parents and Kids, Minimum Age 8 years Hey kids, here's a chance for you to take your Mom or Dad out for A NIGHT IN THE WILD! In this short course, parents and kids will be introduced to the basic skills of camping and backpacking. ADVANCED NIGHT IN THE WILD * Date/Time: Saturday, July 12th from 10:00 a.m., to Sunday, July 13th at 10:00 a.m. Place: Brown Lane Barn and Campsite Fee: $ 105/95 Friends For Parents and Kids, Minimum Age 8 years Designed to compliment our popular "Night in the Wild" program, this course will bring new survival challenges to bear for both parent and child. * PREPARATION MEETING WITH CHICK FOR BOTH PROGRAMS * Thursday, June 26th, 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Lane Barn ---------------------------------------------------------------------
